Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching potential clients and industries. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact. Understand client needs, challenges, and goals to provide tailored solutions.
Conduct product demos and presentations, showcasing the company’s offerings and how they can solve client problems.
Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing deals. Negotiate contracts and pricing, ensuring mutual satisfaction for both the client and the company.
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the company. Monitor progress and adjust sales strategies as needed to hit performance goals.
Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align on strategies and ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and competitors’ offerings. Use market insights to position the company’s products/services effectively.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions using CRM tools. Provide regular sales forecasts and updates to leadership.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote products and generate leads.

Required
Proven experience (2-5 years) in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in B2B or SaaS environments.
Strong knowledge of sales techniques, prospecting methods, and negotiation tactics. Ability to effectively present and communicate product value to potential clients.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and present ideas clearly.
Proficient in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with the industry or market the company operates in, understanding key trends, customer pain points, and competitors.
Strong problem-solving skills to offer creative solutions to client challenges. Analytical mindset to assess customer needs and provide tailored recommendations.
Ability to manage multiple accounts, leads, and sales processes simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven. Ability to stay focused and maintain persistence in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.
Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales process. Ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and offering personalized solutions.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is typically preferred. Relevant experience in lieu of a degree is sometimes acceptable.
