Responsibilities
Source and On-board new property management accounts. A successful Business Development Manager will aspire to close an average of 30 new property management units per month.
Generate new business - 95% on the phone and online and 5% in person
Grow lead generation by creating and executing marketing campaigns using a variety of methods
Clearly communicate all company requirements, expectations and processes to new accounts prior to onboarding of units. The BDM must lay the groundwork for a successful management relationship, including what we expect from our owners, and what those owners can expect from us.
HomeRiver Group will provide leads, but the BDM needs to build their own pipeline as well. It is expected that the BDM attends networking events, meets often with home builders, real estate agents, and other centers of influence to build new relationships and generate referrals.
Communicate the HRG way of managing properties with the Client to set expectations properly and set the PM staff up for success
Ensure the management agreement package is properly signed and executed and all disclosures and surveys are completed by the Client.

Required
3-5+ year(s) in sales in any industry required
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have strong interpersonal skills and drive to provide superior customer service to all parties
Self-starter attitude and ability to prioritize, handle multiple assignments, exercise judgment, and take ownership of projects in the absence of direct supervision
Team player with strong work ethic, pro-active orientation, who can anticipate needs, is assertive, and highly accountable, with a mature and positive attitude
Preferred
College degree preferred
Real Estate License or a background in Real Estate is a plus
Experience with CRM software preferred
Property Management experience a plus
