Responsibilities

Support the Legal Operations Specialist with outside counsel spend management duties (e.g., AFAs, accruals, timekeeper rates)

Assist with billing / payment activities including opening and closing matters, invoice review and ad hoc payments

Assist with outside counsel / vendor onboarding and offboarding activities

Support vendor RFPs

Leverage system data to collate, parse, and analyze spend

Develop a dashboard of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics

Create data and reporting processes to monitor pricing performance and savings

Assist with ad hoc data queries.

Help train department personnel on new processes, tools, guidelines and policies

Serve as subject matter expert for relevant systems and tools

Assist with organization and maintenance of Legal Operations file share, databases, and knowledge platforms

Refresh existing templates and forms to ensure ongoing adherence to department policies

Lead and/or oversees special projects and responsibilities as assigned
