Responsibilities

Develop and oversee a knowledge management framework and related operational processes to support the work or the GRAD Partnership.
Act as co-lead organizing learning communities and work groups of state, district, and non-profit/community organization leaders, serve as thought partner to learning community/workgroup members.
Lead specific cross organizational work streams, such as national convenings, the Canvas LMS project and others as needed.
Support the Director in tracking key project deliverables and developing funder reports. Liaising with senior staff in partner organizations related to project deliverables, timing, format, content etc.
Lead the process for the collection and collation of impact data for recruited schools and Intermediaries. This involves establishing and maintaining data systems and engaging with partners, including senior level partners, and in some cases facilitators and coaches in schools to gather data. It also involves partnering with other JHU analysts and sharing data in a range of formats.
Act as primary reviewer of strategic reports, funder pitches and high-level data and impact reports published by the GRAD Partnership.
Act as primary convener of the core partners’ communications efforts, including oversight of the Communications vendor.
Provide advice and support to TA leads on operational aspects of TA support to Intermediaries, specifically data and impact measures relating to course grades and chronic absenteeism.
Keep current on primary GRAD Partnership issues of importance to ensure relevant and effective outreach to key partners.
Lead a variety of operational projects to support the work of the GRAD Partnership.
Develop processes and systems to manage operational processes to support the effective collaboration and management of key project deliverables.
Co-create materials customized for presentations to prospective Intermediaries, funders, state education agencies, districts and school leads and core partners.
Design and facilitate virtual and in-person workshops and events tailored for GRAD Partnership to support convenings and community of practices.
Make presentations to state, district, non-profit leaders, school Principals and partners.
Demonstrate technical expertise with two or more of the following: project management, data analysis, student success coaching, post-secondary advising, integrated students support, school-based mentoring, evidence-based student supports, science of learning and development, and on-track/student success systems.

Required

Master’s Degree in related field.
Five years of related experience in a university or business development setting, with at least three years managing staff.
Experience leading high level complex projects with multiple partners.
Experience working with educational organizations, foundations, schools and educational partners.
Experience designing and implementing operational infrastructure and knowledge management systems to support large complex projects.
Demonstrate technical expertise with two or more of the following: project management, data analysis, student success coaching, post-secondary advising, integrated students support, school-based mentoring, evidence-based student supports, science of learning and development, and on-track/student success systems.
Extensive communication skills, both orally and written.
Significant skills in organizing, analyzing, presenting data, reaching conclusions and developing recommendations.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with a wide range of individuals.
Motivated and results oriented, comfortable in startup environment.

Preferred

Master’s Degree in Education or Public Policy.
