Responsibilities

Evolving Plaid’s pricing strategy to achieve financial objectives and drive long-term growth

Connecting with customers and deploying quantitative research to understand Plaid’s value proposition by use case, geography, and other relevant dimensions

Identifying new segmentation and bundling scenarios to increase product penetration and increase perceived value proposition

Ensuring pricing guidance aligns with the negotiation strategies of relevant teams

Providing strategic counsel to Product Managers and GTM teams on decisions on how to price new products

Working cross-functionally to effectively identify hypotheses, structure analysis, recommend solutions, and communicate pricing changes and rationale

Identify areas for investment to build and solidify a pricing strategy practice at Plaid

Required

10+ years of experience in pricing and/or strategy role

Strong analytical, financial modeling and presentation skills

Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and action plans

Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy

Ability to build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels

Ability to drive consensus across cross-functional teams and influence decision making

Preferred

Strong knowledge of SQL
