Responsibilities
Reviews and reconciles assigned general ledger accounts and resolves any discrepancies
Participates in the preparation of Hospital financial statements and reports, and in their analysis
Prepares tax returns, and monthly statements for miscellaneous notes and accounts receivable
Provides information and assistance to the external auditors
Assists in conducting account reconciliation and financial.

Required
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Two (2) years college level accounting courses.
Preferred
Associate Degree in accounting, finance or related field.
One (1) year experience in an accounting or financial support role and proven knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and procedures.
Two (2) years’ experience and knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO and Managed Care functions.
