Responsibilities
An accomplished, proven professional that remains current on award and stakeholder recognition curation trends, successfully proposing and executing innovative ideas for IDSA's awards and recognition engagement activities.
Calculated, data-driven risk taker who is unafraid to experiment with new ideas and stakeholder experiences that push the boundaries of IDSA's traditional approaches.
Actively lead, supervise, and mentor an awards support professional, providing opportunities for demonstrated career growth and development through delegation and expanding scopes of responsibility.
Fosters and models a culture of innovation, collaboration, two-way communication, continuous learning and excellence.
Viewed as the face of IDSA's awards programming with external stakeholders, leading to the cultivation of long-lasting, industry-defining, and revenue generating (if possible) relationships and partnerships, including IDSA's relationship with The Henry Ford Museum, that expand the presence and success of IDSA's awards within the global landscape.
Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute muti-faceted, comprehensive, full-cycle awards and recognition project plans, spanning from program launch through winner promotion, that achieve outcomes tied to IDSA's strategic plans.
Relentlessly track and monitor award submission performance while simultaneously managing multiple deadlines, schedules and budgets to ensure financial goals are met and smooth execution of operations of all awards program launches.
Provides clear, meticulous, and sophisticated communication with internal and external stakeholders, consistently fostering trust and confidence.
Carefully recruits and provides leadership for high-profile, world-renown, volunteer awards committees and juries of up to 40+ individuals, developing structures and processes that achieve high standards for recognition of design excellence.
Continuously ensures IDSA's awards technology delivers a world-class experience through comprehensive system configuration and program administration.
Monitors trends in entrant/participant behavior and utilizes feedback to continuously grow IDSA's awards portfolio.
Prepares regular reports, analysis and presentations on the performance and impact of the awards programs.
Reviews monthly financial statements, identifies areas of strength and concern, raising issues and solutions with senior leadership, and advises on strategies and adjusts tactics to achieve budget goals.
Strategizes and presents ideas for revenue expansion opportunities and ways to increase efficiencies while reducing expenses.

Required
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in program management, awards management, or a related area.
Prior experience in association awards management and recognition programs.
Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong project management skills with the ability to calmly manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g. Trello, OpenWater etc.).
Preferred
Certified Association Executive (CAE)
