Responsibilities
Perform admission, continued stay, and discharge reviews for managed care clients
Maintain organized reporting systems for counselors regarding PCPC requirements
Monitor insurance eligibility and funding accuracy
Collaborate with the Billing Department to manage client funding and reduce uncovered days
Conduct chart reviews to ensure compliance and proper documentation

Required
Associate's Degree is required
Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations in healthcare
Familiarity with medical terminology, appeal processes, and data entry (primarily Excel)
Understanding of the pre-certification process and PCPC
Preferred
Previous experience in Utilization Review or a related position within a healthcare setting
