Responsibilities
Maintain and optimize the hardware supporting the Data Warehouse.
Test, upgrade, and create macros to support Teradata and Linux hardware.
Provide essential technical assistance to foster optimum server performance and security.
Ensure a seamless transition of ongoing maintenance and technical expertise to business staff by providing optimized hardware and software solutions.

Required
Position requires a minimum of four (4) years of experience Implementing database, data warehouse, and/or business intelligence (BI) solutions in an enterprise environment.
Experience in Linux system administration (Ubuntu, Redhat).
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSH, VPN).
SQL experience in Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML).
Optimizing data schema and architecture for best performance.
Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties.
Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
Preferred
Two years or more experience with Linux server management.
Two years or more experience with Teradata.
Two years or more experience using SQL (Structured Query Language).
A high degree of creative analytic and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of health care claims and/or public assistance program eligibility data content and structures.
Experience with modernizing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes – Application Programming Interface (API) and Microsoft Sql Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Good communication skills, with ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
