Responsibilities

Works with business groups to understand and define business requirements for large applications.

Stays on top of the latest developments in related technologies, shares knowledge with the team, and serves as a mentor to junior staff.

Serves as a knowledge source for IT groups/management on communication systems.

Ensures the most efficient and cost effective use of equipment. Responsible for internetworking equipment inventory and appropriate maintenance coverage and plans.

Maintains a primary responsibility for internetworking equipment procurement and vendor relationships.

Analyzes network activity and network problems to discover and prevent systematic errors.

Recommends network design changes/enhancements for improved systems availability and performance and proposes adoption of new technologies.

Acts as a knowledge source for communications staff and provides technical leadership for large scale communication projects.

Assists IT and business leadership in understanding large technical projects and solutions.

Genesys CloudContact Center experienceTelephone carriers

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area

10 years related experience in IT or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provide the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Genesys Cloud experience required

Proven expertise in contact center technology, specifically Genesys Cloud.

Customer focused approach with good interpersonal skills.

Positive demeanor with a dedication to high quality work.

Ability to multi task and pay close attention to detail.

Authoritative knowledge of contact center technologies with a focus on Genesys Cloud.

Strong logic and problem solving skills.
