Responsibilities
Create detailed in-building wireless network designs using iBwave, focusing on Off-Air BDA Systems and ERRCS.
Prepare and manage comprehensive design documentation, including heatmaps, floor plans, and bill of materials (BOM).
Work closely with RF Engineers, Project Managers, and construction teams to ensure designs meet project goals and deadlines.
Perform RF simulations and analysis to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with client and industry standards.
Ensure designs adhere to local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and regulatory requirements, particularly for public safety communications.
Interpret RF surveys and site walks to gather data for design accuracy.
Provide design status updates, resolve technical challenges, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Required
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with iBwave design software.
Strong understanding of RF principles, propagation modeling, and in-building wireless technologies.
Proficiency in iBwave, AutoCAD, and other relevant design tools.
Ability to deliver accurate, high-quality designs within tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address design challenges.
Preferred
iBwave Level 2 or higher certification preferred.
Experience with public safety ERRCS design.
Familiarity with coaxial and fiber cable routing and installation practices.
Knowledge of testing and commissioning processes for Off-Air BDA Systems and ERRCS.
