Responsibilities

Develop dynamic multi-layered maps and other data visualizations using Esri ArcGIS products, APIs, and applications

Conceptualize and prototype innovative ways to combine maps, charts, timelines, and info-graphics into user-friendly storytelling applications

Work closely with software developers, product engineers, UX/UI designers, and story-tellers in a highly interactive and creative environment

Solve technical challenges efficiently and effectively

Identify and leverage the latest technologies and methodologies

Document functionalities, governance processes, and best practices for geospatial data lifecycle management to support the program and geospatial community

Required

Active Secret security clearance (interim acceptable)

Minimum of two years of experience designing, building, and delivering geospatial solutions (e.g., web-applications, geodatabases, data analytics, etc.)

Experience with Esri ArcGIS configurable apps, AGOL, and ArcGIS Enterprise components such as Portal

Demonstrable understanding of Agile software development principles

Strong team skills and the ability to work independently

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers, clients, and share ideas
