Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with internal sales consultant to prospect all channels and build sales pipeline.
Partner with existing AAM Generalist & UIT Wholesalers to build and manage relationships within territory. This includes generation of leads, customer service and efficient follow up while fostering a positive image of AAM
Attend industry conferences and regional events to generate sales leads and additional interest in AAM’s ETFs
Analyze marketplace and develop target lists for potential clients in assigned region and prioritize according to potential
Master the AAM ETF solutions in order to teach and educate advisors and prospects to fully engage in our client’s needs
Collaboration with other sales departments within various product areas to provide clients with product accessibility while allowing AAM to capitalize on all available sales opportunities
Develop and implement sales plan that aligns with division sales plans and allows for the meeting of goals and objectives of clients, territory and AAM
Profile clients to obtain information that will assist the client in reaching stated objectives
Maintain heavy travel schedule within territory to conduct client meetings and presentations
Maintain current knowledge of all markets and AAM analytics and market commentaries
Representing AAM and our products to advisors knowledgeably and effectively so that advisors can clearly identify the benefits of AAM products relative to its competitors
Provide exceptional customer service and financial services advice consistent with the client objectives
Enters and maintains data in contact management system to properly track all sales efforts, client contacts and any other necessary information

Required
In depth knowledge of Exchange Traded Funds with a high level of knowledge around capital markets, asset allocation, and portfolio construction
History of successfully distributing income-oriented solutions
Driven and goal-oriented, focused on success
Demonstrated abilities in time management; includes managing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build and grow internal and external relationships
Proven experience working collaboratively and improving team productivity
Creative thinker who can produce, manage and implement productive sales strategies and ideas
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), Internet and contact management systems
3+ years of experience in the financial services industry
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Required Certifications: FINRA Series 7 & 63
