Responsibilities
Secure and retain business through professional, consultative, proactive sales activities directed at decision-makers and decision influencers
Position AES as a primary or preferred provider, qualify deals and develop proposals
Serve as primary contact/support contact until work is sold, then coordinate and ensure a successful implementation
Act as a liaison between sponsor and company on BD activities and requirements
Gather data on marketing trends and competitive products/services and pricing

Required
Bachelors degree in science or business, or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
5+ years' industry sales experience, ideally within life sciences/pharma/CRO.
Sales experience and track record of proactively selling with urgency and persistence.
The ability to identify and develop sales leads, professionally present capabilities, manage the sales process through to close and handle aspects of contract negotiations.
Scientific and/or sales and marketing background.
