Responsibilities
Lead the development of a comprehensive solution strategy for the Visual ERP extension catalog, covering design, integration, and iterative improvements.
Establish and enforce architectural standards and best practices to ensure integrity, scalability, and performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, define technical solutions, and create roadmaps for future enhancements.
Conduct root cause analysis to resolve complex technical issues and drive high-quality deliverables.
Offer technical guidance and strategic direction to the engineering team, cultivating an environment of continuous learning and skill enhancement.
Mentor and coach software engineers, focusing on technical skills, professional growth, and career development.
Conduct code reviews, establish coding standards, and ensure consistent quality across development efforts.
Partner with customers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, validate solutions, and ensure alignment with client needs.
Represent WM-Synergy as a senior technical authority in client meetings, discussing project scope, timelines, and resource planning.
Support pre-sales activities, demonstrating prototypes, providing technical insights, and presenting solution designs to prospective clients.
Drive the design, coding, testing, and implementation of high-quality solutions, championing best practices in software development.
Oversee technical aspects of new and existing solutions, including performance optimization, updates, and bug fixes.
Stay current with emerging technologies, recommending tools, frameworks, and SDKs that align with WM-Synergy’s technical vision and strategic objectives.

Required
Proven experience with ERP systems integration, utilizing C#, .NET, T-SQL, and related technologies.
Strong proficiency in WinForms, GUI design, and web services; advanced database development experience on Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
Expertise in both front-end (ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML) and back-end (XML, XSLT, PL-SQL) architectures.
Skilled in training, coaching, and managing software engineers, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in setting technical direction, managing complex projects, and promoting cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent presentation and documentation skills for reporting progress, presenting solutions, and updating both clients and internal teams.
10+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years focused on ERP solutions.
7+ years of experience with programming languages (C#, .NET) and database design (T-SQL, SQL Management Studio).
3+ years in a leadership role, managing software engineering teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Preferred
In-depth knowledge of Infor Visual ERP systems, with a focus on manufacturing and operational environments.
Background in ERP software, particularly in Visual Manufacturing, Time & Attendance, and Global Financials.
Familiarity with modern development frameworks (e.g., .NET 4+ Framework, ASP.NET) and RDBMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL).
Certification as an Infor Certified Technical Specialist is a plus.
