Responsibilities
Implement new leads for the organization working side by side with our CEO, and the consulting and sales team to increase and attract new customers.
Deliver lead generation from industry contacts and book more deals to increase revenue stream.
Responsible for revenue line target for the consulting division to ensure growth in the consulting and M&A areas of the company
Responsible for the expansion of consulting partners that can provide the company with third-party expertise as well as generate leads.
Although experience in payments is a must for this job, the VP of Business Development will be working with the CEO of the company and will have the opportunity to seek advice and information from our partner consultants, as well as President and members of the Board if requested.
We encourage a proactive approach to seeking information and knowledge of this very dynamic industry.
Work together with the content and conference teams on cross-selling products and services that might engage clients in a more holistic relationship with the company.
Provide content suggestions on what is relevant to the industry and identify areas where the company should apply such content for lead generation as well as communicating topics of importance to team and for the content strategy of the company.
Participation in the company conferences is a must, both as a participant to seek leads and to be a panelist or even a moderator is needed. A good stage presence and excellent communication skills are a must.
Work on proposals and analysis of the conference agenda to ensure the company has relevant topics and new trends to introduce to the industry.
Understand what customers are asking and what kind of inquiries the company receives through the pipeline of emails/customer requests/personal connections/ to hel every team member to be on the lookout for solutions and leads.
Assist the CEO in the preparation of reports to the President and/or the Board of Directors.
Work on proposals for company expansion activities inclusive through partnerships with referrals of new networks and propose ideas to increase revenue opportunities.
Training on day-to-day operations to optimize day-to-day operations.

Required
Subject matter expert in the payments industry with knowledge of cross-border payments.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with at least 8 years of experience in a similar capacity.
Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
Deep understanding of sales, and best practices.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Willingness and availability to travel based on business needs 20% of the time.
Preferred
Portuguese is a bonus.
