Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic vision that leverages both Web 2 and Web 3 technologies to create engaging, sustainable gaming experiences.
Identify and assess industry trends, particularly around blockchain, NFTs, metaverse, and decentralized gaming, to ensure Vulcan Forged remains at the forefront of innovation.
Lead initiatives to expand our market presence across MMORPG, RPG, CCG, and TCG genres, driving engagement and brand loyalty.
Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to identify growth opportunities, partnerships, and new markets.
Ensure game design and development align with our vision, focusing on player engagement, retention, and the adoption of Web 3 technologies.
Drive the integration of decentralized elements (e.g., NFTs, in-game assets) while maintaining a strong focus on user experience and game mechanics.
Inspire, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative culture of creativity and high performance.
Oversee talent acquisition and retention strategies to build a team capable of delivering world-class games.
Develop financial strategies that balance growth and sustainability, driving revenue through innovative monetization models suited for Web 2 and Web 3 environments.
Manage budgets, fundraising efforts, and investor relations to support the company’s growth trajectory.
Act as an advocate for the player community, ensuring feedback and data inform product decisions.
Foster a gaming culture that prioritizes ethical gaming practices, user safety, and positive player experiences.

Required
8+ years of executive experience, with a proven track record in the gaming industry.
Demonstrated experience with MMORPG, RPG, CCG, and TCG game genres, including knowledge of player demographics, engagement drivers, and monetization.
Solid understanding of both traditional gaming and emerging Web 3 technologies, including blockchain, smart contracts, NFTs, and decentralized economies.
Proven ability to integrate Web 3 components into games seamlessly, balancing innovation with accessibility and ease of use for players.
Visionary leadership skills, with a passion for gaming and the ability to inspire teams and build a player-centric culture.
Strong track record of building and scaling businesses, with an understanding of the financial and operational aspects of a gaming company.
Proficiency in using data to inform decisions, with a deep understanding of gaming metrics and key performance indicators.
Experience in financial management, fundraising, and investor relations within the tech or gaming sector.
