Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define and implement the strategic technical direction of the company.
Design and develop robust, scalable software architectures based on SOLID principles.
Provide expert guidance and consulting to project teams on software architecture, design, and coding practices.
Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods.
Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design.
Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
Regularly review and optimize the architecture for maintainability, scalability, and performance.
Continually research emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.
Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a software development role, software architecture role, or a related field.
Deep understanding and experience with SOLID principles.
Proven experience as a software architect.
Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
Understanding of software quality assurance principles.
High quality organizational and leadership skills.
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach.
Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
Knowledge of selected coding languages (e.g. C#, Java, JavaScript).
Familiarity with various operating systems and databases.
Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Preferred
Master’s degree is a plus.
Professional certification in TOGAF, CITA, EACOE, or similar is a plus.
