Responsibilities
Lead and develop a compliance team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Assign tasks aligned with team members’ skills and professional goals, ensuring compliance excellence across projects.
Manage and review certified payroll processes for internal and external project teams. Work closely with subcontractors and project managers to maintain up-to-date compliance documentation for wage laws, local hiring mandates, and other labor-related requirements.
Conduct periodic audits on active projects to verify adherence to labor standards, addressing any identified risks proactively. Support compliance programs by participating in risk assessments and implementing improvement strategies.
Evaluate contract-specific labor requirements for public and private projects, including prevailing wages, diversity, and workforce standards. Collaborate with teams to create monitoring and reporting plans that ensure full compliance.
Engage with internal teams, contractors, subcontractors, and government bodies, providing training and support in understanding and meeting compliance expectations.
Stay informed on changes in labor and compliance laws, updating policies accordingly. Prepare and present compliance reports to stakeholders and regulatory bodies, maintaining transparency and accountability.

Required
5-10 years of progressive experience in labor compliance within the construction or infrastructure sector.
Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Proficiency in document management and compliance software, such as LCPtracker, Elations, or equivalent platforms.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
In-depth understanding of federal and state labor laws, including Davis-Bacon and other prevailing wage regulations, as well as best practices in construction compliance.
Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and interpret compliance data to address and resolve compliance-related issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and with external stakeholders.

Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Regular, reliable attendance and a proactive approach to work.
