Responsibilities
Leading the company: You will spearhead the development and execution of TheCanonWorks’ strategy, guiding the team and aligning the company’s goals with its core mission of promoting integrity and rational discourse in social media.
Business Development: Drive outreach to communities, organizations, and thought leaders across the United States to gain interest in and adoption of our platform. Use your leadership and sales skills to form meaningful relationships with these groups and encourage them to engage with TheCanonWorks.
Team Building: Recruit, inspire, and lead a team of engineers, designers, and product managers to continue building and enhancing the platform. Foster a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and ensures product-market fit.
Investor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for venture capital outreach, securing funding to scale TheCanonWorks. Build relationships with potential investors and lead fundraising efforts to support our growth and expansion.
User Growth & Engagement: Build and execute strategies to grow the user base and increase engagement across the platform. Implement initiatives that encourage active participation, feedback, and community growth.
Product Strategy: Lead research into user needs and preferences to continuously improve the product. Collaborate with the product and design teams to build features that users want and that align with TheCanonWorks’ core values.
Advertising & Monetization: Identify opportunities to attract clients who would advertise on TheCanonWorks platform. Develop strategies to drive revenue while maintaining the integrity and mission of the platform.

Required
Proven track record of leading and managing teams, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
Experience with social media platforms, digital communities, and online engagement strategies.
Demonstrated ability to increase user acquisition, retention, and engagement.
Prior experience in executive leadership roles, particularly in product-driven or technology companies.
Ability to think outside the box and identify new opportunities to drive both growth and societal impact.
Strong communication and sales skills.
Preferred
Experience in fundraising and working with venture capital.
