Responsibilities
Strategic IT Leadership: Develop and execute IT strategies that align with AFC’s goals, fostering innovation and operational excellence.
Process Improvement Initiatives: Identify inefficiencies and lead process automation efforts to improve workflows and productivity across departments.
System Optimization: Oversee the management and enhancement of TMS platforms, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
EDI Integration: Manage EDI setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting for smooth electronic data exchange with partners and customers.
IT Policies & Compliance: Establish IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure security, efficiency, and compliance.
Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to implement technology-driven solutions that support growth and scalability.
Data Security & Recovery: Implement robust data security measures, perform system backups, and regularly test disaster recovery protocols.
Vendor Management: Oversee IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology contracts to optimize costs and achieve business objectives.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of IT leadership experience in the transportation and logistics industry.
Proven expertise in process improvement and automation initiatives.
Strong knowledge of EDI integration and related technologies.
Excellent leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across departments.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
Experience with TMS platforms (McLeod TMS is highly preferred but not required).
