Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders (including finance, admissions, and student services departments) to gather and document business requirements related to student financials.
Workday Configuration: Assist in the configuration and optimization of the Workday Student Financials module, including billing, tuition calculation, payments, refunds, and financial aid.
Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements using Workday best practices to streamline student financial operations.
Data Management: Work on student financial data migration, ensuring data accuracy and integrity during implementation or updates.
Testing: Develop and execute test cases, validate configurations, and troubleshoot issues during the testing phases of implementation.
Support: Provide post-implementation support, including resolving technical and functional issues, reporting, and ongoing configuration updates.
Documentation: Create detailed process documentation, system configuration guides, and training materials for end-users.
Training: Train stakeholders and end-users on Workday Student Financials functionalities, ensuring seamless adoption.
Compliance: Ensure that Workday configurations comply with higher education financial regulations and policies.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other Workday teams, including those responsible for Student Records, Financial Aid, and Integrations, to ensure a cohesive solution.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within higher education or student services.
Prior experience working with Workday Student Financials is mandatory.
In-depth knowledge of Workday Student Financials configuration and functionality.
Proficiency in configuration, testing, creating reports and dashboards within Workday.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Preferred
Workday Student Financials certification is not needed.
Familiarity with other Workday modules like Financial Aid, Student Records, and Human Resources.
