Responsibilities

Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

Determine, document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code

Improve operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures.

Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Provide information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing development and service issues.

Understand and collaborate business needs and know how to create the tools to manage them.

Required

8+ years of experience as a software engineer

6+ years of experience in C# .NET including Web services and JavaScript.

4+ years professional experience with SQL Server (stored procedures, design patterns, covering indexes).

Advanced knowledge in OOP (static constructors, heap, reflection, memory management)

Expert level in TPL dataflow design (tasks, threads, semaphores, locks)

Familiarity with APIs, deep knowledge of HTTP request/response handling in .NET

Experience owning a task or project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution

Ability to provide on-call or after hour support as needed (limited) on a rotation basis
