Responsibilities
Facilitate Program-Level Coordination
Coordinate with multiple agile teams to ensure that they are aligned, communicate effectively, and collaborate to meet program goals.
Identify, track, and mitigate dependencies across teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of features.
Work with Product Management, Product Owners, and stakeholders to align on priority and scope for each Program Increment (PI).
Ensure Program Increment (PI) Planning
Oversee the preparation and execution of PI planning, which includes coordinating logistics, aligning teams, and ensuring all participants understand the goals and commitments.
Ensure teams come together during PI planning to identify dependencies, risks, and alignment on deliverables.
Help define and track the PI objectives that each team has committed to and ensure alignment with business priorities.
Facilitate Agile Events and Ceremonies
Organize retrospectives to reflect on the performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Organize product demonstrations to key stake holders to show release feature progress and gain product owner approval.
Manage scrum of scrum meetings to coordinate cross team dependencies and remove blockers.
Manage and Track Progress of Deliverables
Track progress across teams, using tools like JIRA, to ensure that work is progressing as planned, and identify and resolve roadblocks.
Track the delivery of milestones, features, and objectives and escalate issues to leadership when necessary.
Identify risks and issues early and work proactively with teams to mitigate them, ensuring that the ART can deliver as promised.
Empower Teams
Remove blockers that may impede team performance and ensure that teams have what they need to succeed.
Cultivate a culture of openness and collaboration, encouraging teams to share challenges, knowledge, and solutions.
Guide teams in improving their agile practices, helping them become more self-sufficient and efficient over time.
Lead Stakeholder Communication
Act as a liaison between senior leadership, Product Management, and other teams, ensuring alignment between business and development needs.
Ensure timely communication of risks, challenges, and progress to stakeholders and leadership, offering solutions and alternatives when necessary.
Keep all stakeholders informed about the release progress, scope, timelines, and any blockers or challenges.
Track Engineering Performance Metrics
Measure and assess the performance of the teams using key performance indicators (KPIs), such as velocity, quality, and predictability, to continually improve delivery.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems (MIS) or a related field
Proficiency with agile development methodology, issue tracking, and more specifically the Scrum software development framework
5+ years’ experience as project manager and able demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of SDLC, project management, knowledge of the terminology and processes of effective agile project management
Experience with project management tools like SAFe and development lifecycle tools like JIRA
Superior communication and people management skills to mediate disputes and resolve scheduling and resource utilization conflicts
Deep understanding of the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
Preferred
Experience with Scalable Agile Framework (SAFe) a big plus
Nice to have: Experience with clinical development solutions and understanding of clinical trial processes
