Responsibilities

Design, manage, and maintain scalable and resilient cloud solutions, ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and operational best practices.

Develop and refine tooling, automation processes, and configuration management to streamline cloud-based operations, ensuring consistency and security.

Serve as a Technical Sales Rep, building strong external client relationships, understanding requirements, and providing tailored solutions aligned with client needs.

Participate in peer code reviews, design collaborations, and on-call rotations. Coordinate with solution architects and partners to ensure that developed solutions meet security and operational standards.

Continuously monitor and assess current cloud usage, identifying risks, limitations, and optimization opportunities to enhance system efficiency and security.

Maintain and manage server configurations, ensuring robust security and lifecycle management on Linux and Windows platforms.

Lead troubleshooting and support calls for hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, providing expert insights to resolve network issues.

Required

Due to a US government contract, this role is restricted to U.S. citizens only, excluding those with dual citizenship.

10-15 years in IT, with expertise in Linux and Windows server administration, nginx, Apache, and IIS.

Minimum of 5 years in cloud computing, with extensive AWS experience.

3-5 years of professional services consulting experience.

2 years of experience with Kubernetes.

AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification required.

In-depth knowledge of serverless architecture, clustering architectures, and traditional three-tier deployments, with the ability to assess and implement the optimal structure for each client’s unique needs.

Skilled in evaluating and executing various cloud migration paths—rehosting, refactoring, and re-platforming—to recommend the best approach that aligns with external client timelines and budgets.

Proven experience managing the full software development and deployment lifecycle across multiple programming languages, ensuring high-quality and resilient solutions.

Familiarity with industry compliance and regulatory standards, including PCI, SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR, ensuring all deployments meet or exceed necessary security and compliance requirements.

Demonstrated success in a client-facing role, owning external client relationships, requirements gathering, scheduling, and deliverables.

Establishing the technical needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate solutions.

Explaining complex technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable.

Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of Cloud provider services.

Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to mastering new technologies and sharing knowledge with internal/external teams.

Excellent presentation skills via a variety of platforms (in person, over the phone, video meetings, conferences, etc.).

Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and a high level of respect and courtesy in all professional interactions.

Ability to work remotely within the United States.

Fluent in English.

Ability to travel occasionally for team/company meetings, events, client meetings, etc.
