Responsibilities

Act as a vital team member to the Substation Department for the purpose of delivering and safeguarding system design for power equipment.
Contribute to project development (project scheduling, proposal development).
Be hands-on with various substation equipment specifications.
Perform necessary testing and commissioning on P&C systems and schemes (medium and high voltages).
Conduct equipment testing and lead projects of various complexity.

Required

5-7 years of RECENT P&C design experience
Previous work experience with substation design; including protection schemes, control systems, and communication protocols
Engineering Degree (Electrical Engineering preferred, mechanical or civil)
Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation
Great communication skills (will be working across multidisciplinary teams at POWER, with opportunities for project lead)

Preferred

Relevant work experience with AutoCAD Electrical, Vault, and BIM Electrical
Previous team/project lead responsibilities
