Responsibilities
As a member of the commercial leadership team, the Head of Market Access will play a critical role in setting the vision for and building the capabilities of the commercial organization.
Oversee the development and implementation of the access strategy for Praxis products including value proposition, pricing and reimbursement, payor engagement, heath economics, and patient access programs informed by insights and in partnership with key functions.
Recruit, develop, and retain a team of highly skilled market access professionals responsible for a value strategy, evidence generation, national account management, government relations, patient access and reimbursement services, and pricing and contracting operations.
Keep company abreast and ready for the changing market access environment and policy changes.
Cultivate a culture of learning to improve individual and team performance; establish performance metrics and tracking.

Required
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree; advanced degree in business management, operations or other is highly preferred.
10+ years of experience within biotech/pharmaceutical with recent focus in global market access leadership.
Launch experience for both common and rare indications; neuroscience experience preferred.
Demonstrated leadership ability building high-performing teams; strong ability to engage and motivate people and have the managerial courage to make and stand by difficult decisions.
Innovative and disruptive mindset
Possesses both strategic and operational mindset with the ability to see the big picture and bring a strong attention to detail
Demonstrates a high level of intellectual curiosity, innovation and creative problem solving with an entrepreneurial spirit; can thrive in an Agile environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop important relationships that include trust and encourage diversity in all its forms
Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion to deliver quality results

Work is performed in a remote, work from home environment. The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb or balance. Movement through sites and labs may occasionally be required as employee may need to visit these environments. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Visual acuity is required to read and produce accurate materials. Use of keyboards and cellular devices.
Preferred
Advanced degree in business management, operations or other is highly preferred.
Neuroscience experience preferred.
