Responsibilities
Provide input and vote on the organization’s overall strategy and direction, ensuring alignment with CP's mission and values.
Actively support fundraising efforts and help identify new sources of revenue and partnerships, with a minimum of $10,000 per year. As a Voting Board member, you are personally responsible for raising this minimum amount annually through corporate, personal, or partnership donations.
Ensure sound governance practices, compliance with legal and ethical standards, and fiscal responsibility.
Serve as a passionate advocate for the organization, helping to raise awareness and expand CP’s network and impact.
Work closely with fellow board members, CP leadership, Ambassadors, and staff to strengthen the organization's initiatives and grow our community.

Required
Passion for the mission and values of the Command Purpose Foundation.
Experience in nonprofit governance, strategic planning, or organizational leadership.
A strong network and the ability to execute fundraising and partnership-building efforts.
Excellent communication skills.
Attend virtual quarterly board meetings.
Lead and support individual fundraising events and activities.
Serve a minimum two-year term, with the option for renewal.
Participation in committees or special projects as needed.
Preferred
Previous board experience is desirable, but not required.
