Responsibilities
Organize and coordinate RMUC outreach and engagement events (e.g., listening sessions, webinars, workshops, etc.) to ensure they run smoothly and are a success for both the client and attendees. Elements of this support may include, but are not limited to:
Planning: creating event concepts, selecting a venue, developing a schedule with associated milestones, creating the run-of-show, drafting event agenda, leading coordination calls, etc.
Budgeting: preparing budgets and managing event finances
Logistics: coordinating logistics, such as rooms, IT equipment, etc.
Marketing/Communications: developing marketing/communication materials for amplification
Crisis management: anticipating potential issues and creating mitigation plans
Post-event reporting: drafting a report to evaluate what went well and what could be improved
Prepare and distribute meeting and program-related documents in a timely manner for review and processing
Develop a variety of communication products, stakeholder engagement plans, and outreach plans
Providing quality control and quality assurance to ensure products are accurate and adhere to all branding, communications, and government requirements

Required
U.S. citizenship
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of related experience
Must have at least 2 years of experience leading outreach and engagement events from start to finish for the Federal government
Ability to work both independently and as an effective member of a collaborative team
Exceptional communication and organization skill
Experience in managing multiple tasks at once
Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred
Experience with managing outreach and engagement events that are compliant with the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) is highly desired
Experience with managing listening sessions (or similar events such as feedback sessions, stakeholder interviews, roundtable discussions, etc.) from start to finish is highly desired
Knowledge of the energy sector and its stakeholders is highly desired
