Responsibilities
Prepare test plans for unit, system, automation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for each major release during the CI/CD pipeline.
Execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software products meet quality standards.
Identify, document, and track software defects and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure testing aligns with those requirements.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts whenever possible
Monitor and report on software quality metrics and recommend process improvements.
Utilize defect reporting/tracking tools (Jira/Confluence).

Required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field), or substitute six years of equivalent work experience
At least four (4) years of specialized experience in quality assurance and/or quality control
At least four (4) years of experience testing web-based applications
At least two (2) years of experience with test automation (e.g., Gauge, Selenium, Cucumber)
At least two (2) years of experience with API testing (ReadyAPI, LoadRunner, SoapUI, JMeter)
At least two (2) years of experience in a programming or scripting language (JavaScript, Java, Python, PHP, C++)
Must have experience working with Agile/Scrum
Must have experience with Jira and Confluence
Candidates must provide fingerprints and be able to pass a US Public Trust background check for badging and access to client systems
Preferred
Strong work ethic, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous federal government project experience a plus
