Responsibilities
Lead the North America Region (NAR) tax accounting initiatives
Coordinate with Accounts Receivable the sales tax filings and payments
Collaborate with Accounts Payable for use tax filings, tax payments, 1099 review and preparation, 1042 review and preparation, and escheatment process for unclaimed property
Gather and prepare the necessary state and federal income tax related information for Corporate accounting
Provide support for inter-company transfer pricing analytics from a global perspective
Manage the accounting, payments, and property tax payments for leased facilities
Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
Support internal and external audits
Other special projects, as required

Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting with 5+ years of relevant experience
Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant or Tax Analyst
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
Strong technical accounting skills
Ability to work effectively on a team or independently with a track record of delivering results on time with attention to detail
Ability to work with changing priorities and deadlines
Ability to act as a change agent to improve processes to promote efficiencies
Self-motivated
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel
Preferred
Experience with SAP and Business Objects
