Lifecycle Marketing Manager

Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for creating and refining automated lifecycle journeys and one-off campaigns across email, SMS, and other CRM channels to increase conversion, engagement, and retention
As a data-driven growth marketer, you thrive working closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing teams to optimize email touchpoints to drive incremental impact and learnings
Developing and maintaining user segmentation and targeting strategies to ensure users receive the right content at the right time.
You’ll rigorously A/B test and execute a roadmap that improve metrics across the customer journey.
Generate data-driven hypotheses that inform strategies to continuously optimize lifecycle campaigns and transactional communications for performance and impact, working with analytics to measure and socialize findings and develop next steps toward bigger wins.

Required
6-8 years of experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with a demonstrable track record of success in lifecycle marketing, customer activation, and engagement
Proven experience in advanced segmentation and personalization of campaigns across multiple channels, with a focus on driving user engagement
Possess relevant certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Marketing Certified mandatory), demonstrating a solid understanding of the platform's capabilities
Specific experience with APEX and AMPscript required
A knack for art and science — you’re just as comfortable making messaging and design suggestions as you are analyzing a spreadsheet and quantifying results
You have a data-driven, product mindset - you tackle complex problems with systems thinking, you love automating manual processes, and can communicate your ideas with structured thinking
Developed creative briefs and provided constructive feedback on creative work
Intermediate knowledge of editing and troubleshooting HTML and CSS
Experience working cross-functionally to ensure campaign requirements and deadlines are met, while also delivering an optimal customer experience
Experience with A/B testing and campaign experimentation
Effective storyteller, able to communicate results and learnings of your campaigns across all levels of the organization (from executive suite to engineering)
You enjoy working in a scrappy, fast-paced working environment. You pride yourself on trying things quickly, learning and iterating, and then either pivoting or scaling.
