Responsibilities

Meet the team & cross-functional stakeholders

Understand the systems and processes in place that Data Engineering uses, and leverage them to produce additional value

Support and develop real-time analytics for Embedded Analytics and Analytics Integrations

Learn the cross-team relationships and work, and using them to drive larger impact to the company.

Becoming responsible for the team’s systems and processes, and making sure they are well engineered.

Identify at least 3 issues/optimizations for the team

In depth review of Embedded Analytics product offering + how Data Engineering’s ownership

Reviewer for all Data Engineering PRs

Required

Experience with Data Stack/Infrastructure and tooling such as Redshift + ClickHouse – Enterprise Data Warehouse

Infrastructure as Code/Deployment – Terraform, GitHub Actions

Data Ingestion – Debezium, Third Party APIs, Streaming (Kinesis Data Firehose)

Data Transformation – DBT, Prefect

Observability – Grafana

Reporting/Data Visualization – Sigma, QuickSight

Able to take on complex problems, learn quickly, iterate, and persist towards a good solution

Effectively communicate, at the level of your audience, and seek to understand and be understood
