Responsibilities

Work with biologists to design, develop, and maintain production-grade software to support DNA engineering workflows.

Integrate production software with Benchling LIMS using API-based approaches.

Configure and update Benchling environments to meet project-specific requirements.

Collaborate with internal teams to design and refine data schemas that streamline workflows and ensure scalability.

Ensure compatibility and accuracy in data structure for seamless integration.

Develop robust Python-based pipelines for Oxford Nanopore sequence analysis.

Automate bioinformatics workflows and streamline data processing for production use.

Implement algorithms and solutions to improve the accuracy and efficiency of DNA sequence analysis.

Collaborate with scientists and engineers to conceptualize, design, and implement new bioinformatics tools.

Document and communicate technical designs and project plans effectively.
