Responsibilities

Lead a team of associates with a primary focus to research and identify payment discrepancies from various sources

Compile and analyze data to make recommendations

Work with financial and clinical departments collaboratively

Review contract validation, updates and interpretation

Present data and effectively communicate to various levels of end users

Ensure account analysis is validated prior to distribution

Work on multiple projects/initiatives at a time

Maintain applicable continuing education requirements

Other duties as assigned

Required

3-5 years’ experience in healthcare insurance, hospital specific

Keen understanding of the revenue cycle and opportunity for uncollected revenue

Must pass the Certified Revenue Cycle Representative examination offered through the Healthcare Financial Management Association within 120 days of hire, unless already certified.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Accounting or a Healthcare related field or equivalent experience, required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The ability to problem solve and analyze data.

Professional presence is required to deliver exceptional customer service.

Proven Leadership abilities to provide management and direction for the team

Aptitude for and the ability to adapt to multiple software systems presented by the clients.

Adaptability to changing procedures and growing environment
