Responsibilities

Create and manage content and editorial calendars for the League’s social media channels and digital programming via NLL.com, e-mails, video series, and other forms of digital publishing.
Assist with the management of the digital marketing initiative, including digital media assets, content quality control, and preparation of real-time reports and analytics on the overall performance against established KPIs.
Monitor, track, and analyze consumer behaviors, industry trends, and best practices and implement research into new fan engagement and digital marketing campaigns.
Prepare a real-time pipeline CRM database, internal analytical reports/sales forecasts, partnership analysis throughout the season, and department progress reports to senior management and League committees as needed.
Install guidelines for digital and social content development and deployment across the League, including all NLL teams.
Help define storytelling opportunities and commercial partner-related digital activations in collaboration with other NLL business verticals.
Be the subject expert across NLL tech stack partner software products, including but not limited to Egnyte, Grabyo, Greenfly, Photoshelter, WordPress, WSC, and Zoomph.
Collaborate with local market content creators and game night highlights team.
Assist in the League’s digital infrastructure rebuild project (including new website and app development).

Required

Bachelor’s degree preferred with minimum five (5) years’ experience managing and executing digital and social strategy, content and production within a sports environment.
Experience working in live sports and breaking news environments.
Strong understanding of digital content with strong digital editing skills.
Possess strong analytical skills to carry out a metrics-driven approach to content creation and analyze consumer metrics, reports, and trends.
Experience in content development from conception to execution.
Experience in digital production workflows.
Experience and confidence in interacting with and interviewing professional athletes.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills, including experience with content management systems.
Basic knowledge of the sport of lacrosse.
Passion for social media, a strong understanding of consumer behavior and creating best-in-class sports content having a knack for knowing what separates the best content from the rest, is crucial.
Strong sense of creativity, imagination, and innovation.
Expert knowledge of major social media platforms and related strategies, with a passion for staying on top of trends and an ability to articulate and implement against said trends.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and departments in a matrixed organization.
Demonstrated strong business judgment and strategic and analytical capabilities.
Innovative risk taker with cross-functional skillset.
Ability to prioritize be proactive and multitask, managing multiple projects with tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Determined work ethic with a passion for delivering on group and individual objectives.
Travel to league production company facilities, other league events and / or extended hours is required; ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
