Responsibilities

Develops and implements strategies to detect and mitigate undesirable bot traffic.

Monitors and analyzes bot activity to identify patterns and emerging threats.

Designs and maintains bot mitigation solutions.

Partners with product teams to provide guidance regarding the development and deployment of digital assets, focusing on the impact to bot mitigation measures.

Continuously improving security toolsets and advancing their use.

Assists in the review and update of cyber security policies, architectures and standards.

Assists in responding to audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.

Learning and taking ownership of Cybersecurity tools and processes.

Experience with WAF and bot mitigation is highly preferred.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, management information systems, cybersecurity, or equivalent experience

3-5 years of experience in web application security, network security, bot mitigation detection and prevention

working knowledge of modern application architectures, bot characteristics, and emerging threats

understanding of bot mitigation techniques, such as the use of CAPTCHAs, and rate limiting

experience with web application firewalls (WAFs) and/or bot mitigation solutions

Preferred

Security+ (preferred not required)

CIH (preferred not required)

Experience with WAF and bot mitigation is highly preferred

contributions to the technology community

experience behavioral analysis and/or AI/ML

scripting capability in one or more languages (PowerShell, bash, Python, etc.)
