Responsibilities
Collaborate with product, authoring, and engineering teams to design seamless content migration from the current client site to the new CMS, ensuring consistency in design and functionality.
Maintain existing design patterns and components during the migration, ensuring the visual integrity of the website is preserved.
Identify gaps in existing components and create new design elements or patterns as needed to support content migration.
Document and communicate the design requirements for new components, working closely with engineering to ensure proper implementation within the CMS.
Develop clear, comprehensive design guidelines and best practices for the content migration process.
Document any design-related aspects of the migration, including instructions for future content authors on how to apply design components in the new CMS.
Review migrated content to ensure it aligns with the intended design, ensuring visual consistency and quality across all pages.
Conduct design QA to identify and address issues related to design
Work closely with the product, engineering, and content teams to ensure the CMS migration process aligns with both design and technical requirements.
Provide ongoing design support to ensure smooth transitions throughout the migration process.

Required
Proven experience in UI and UX design, ideally within large-scale websites.
Experience with web content management systems and content migration processes.
Strong proficiency in Figma.
Solid understanding of web standards, responsive design, and accessibility best practices.
Experience creating and documenting design styles, patterns, and components.
Strong attention to detail and an eye for design consistency across various digital platforms.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with HTML/CSS and basic web development is a plus.
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus.
