Responsibilities

Ownership of Budgeting Process: Lead the yearly budgeting process for Games, including regional and territory target setting, quarterly forecast achievements, monthly business reviews, and weekly performance reporting.
Accountability for Metrics: Drive regional accountability across both retail and direct channels for Games metrics, including revenue and inventory management.
Demand Planning Alignment: Collaborate with regional teams and the Marketing Business group to ensure alignment on demand planning.
Global Retail Strategy Development: Create a comprehensive global retail strategy for Games that aligns with the full ecosystem of devices, services, content, and growth areas. Develop fiscal year priorities to help regions execute marketing plans, strategies, and campaigns.
Roadmap Maintenance: Work closely with Product Marketing teams and regional stakeholders to develop and maintain a roadmap for product and retail programs, offers, and promotions across all markets to maximize sales.
Partner Pitch Materials: Create compelling partner pitch materials for regions to present to retail and telco partners.
Market Dynamics Response: Drive efforts to correct errors (COE) in response to market dynamics.
Opportunity Identification: Identify new growth opportunities and prioritize them based on their potential.
Strategic Channel Growth: Collaborate with the Growth Lead to shape strategies for new and strategic sales channels with Product Marketing and CSO regions, including partner selection, onboarding, and tracking results, best practices, and learnings for future partner rollouts.
Market Expansion Support: Assist regions in driving market expansion and launching new tests or trials.
Category and Regional Insights: Leverage industry knowledge, channel insights, and customer understanding to drive strategic alignment, digital transformation, and achieve joint business objectives with regions and Product Marketing.
Voice of the Field: Share regional insights based on in-store and online execution, customer and partner feedback, and market/industry trends. Use this feedback to influence decisions in CSO, Gaming Marketing, and Gaming Engineering, impacting Long Range Product Planning and Competitive Insights.
Bethesda, Xbox Game Studios, and Minecraft: Ensure that our strategies and initiatives reflect the priorities and unique strengths of our core focus studios: Bethesda, Xbox Game Studios, and Minecraft.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in planning and executing assortment plans, marketing strategies, and activities that drive business results.
OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in planning and executing assortment plans, marketing strategies, and activities that drive business results.
OR equivalent experience.
Experience reviewing and managing budgets, market data and deal opportunities.
Experience working in the gaming industry.

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in planning and executing assortment plans, marketing strategies, and activities that drive business results.
OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in planning and executing assortment plans, marketing strategies, and activities that drive business results.
