Responsibilities
Providing day-to-day leadership and management of multilingual review and translation teams and interfaces with technical personnel to collect documents in both English and Japanese. A regular speaker at eDiscovery conference panels.
Conducting reviews on various litigation, including Antitrust, FCPA, Patent, Contract, Complex Multi-District and Class Action Personal Injury, and SEC and Internal Investigations.
Engaging in privilege analysis, quality control, privilege logging, and identification of hot documents.
Providing feedback to technical vendors during implementation of TAR in multilanguage contexts.

Required

Proficiency with various review platforms, including Relativity, Ringtail, Concordance, Catalyst, Kroll, etc., including search functionality batch creation/assignment.
Extensive experience in assisting in early-stage multilanguage eDiscovery preparation.
Experience with English-to-Japanese/Japanese-to-English translation tasks, including the drafting of translations, editing of translations, and review/evaluations of machine translations.
