Responsibilities

Work with major accounts and complex plans using your discretion to determine how specific situations should be addressed to ensure client expectations are appropriately met. Ensure plans are administered in compliance with plan provisions, current pension laws and regulations. Ensure that all services are delivered within documented service standards through timely communication with Clients, Plan Sponsors.
Demonstrate knowledge of available platform solutions and trading methods. Be able to train these to Retirement Plan Client Consultants and other team members as needed. Effectively communicate with all technical team to ensure that timely compliance reports and government filings are maintained for all assigned plans.
Ability to discuss the compliance testing process, testing results and all required government filings; including consulting with clients/advisors on plan design options to meet the desired retirement plan benefit outcomes.
Assist Managers in the development of processes and implementation of best practices to ensure compliance to set standards of service.
Monitor and manage client requests, and internal reports for required task completion.
Other duties as assigned.

Required

Associate degree and two(2) years' experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Must have knowledge of advanced Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts.
Ability to competently use research tools to obtain knowledge of and apply current regulations.
Ability to prepare spreadsheets, reconcile numbers and analyze financial data.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to develop application software skills provided by internal training.

Preferred

ASPPA or other industry designations (such as NIPA or CEBS) preferred.
