Responsibilities

Own the process of scoping the client’s website to understand the structure and availability of shopper behavioral data (i.e. browsing products / categories, carting and purchasing products, dataLayer evaluation)

Write the custom JavaScript to appropriately collect shopper behavioral interactions in accordance with the scoping done

Spearhead/drive meetings and calls with the client to discuss technical aspects of implementation

Configure client account in the Surfside platform, set up Source connections and API integrations to 3rd party integration partners

Ensure that email matching is working properly within the integration

Perform extensive data validation to ensure proper collection of data

Comprehensively document the integration to be referenced by internal and external users

Required

3-5 years of professional experience using Javascript, especially with collecting and harvesting data from the DOM

Strong HTML, CSS, and Javascript skills including: understanding of the DOM, HTML5 elements, semantic markup, understanding of CSS inheritance and specificity, understanding of how to solve problems using custom Javascript

Meticulous attention to detail embracing a sense of ownership and accountability, as it is critical to ensuring quality integrations

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Positive 'Can-Do' attitude with the ability to be flexible with changing demands

Excellent problem solving & collaboration skills

Proficient with Git

Proficient with Charles or other debugging proxy

Proficient with SQL & Unix commands

Exemplary written communication and documentation skills

Preferred

Knowledge of ETL solutions and different Data Pipeline processes is a plus

Familiarity with online retail and e-commerce concepts
