Responsibilities
Contribute to the company’s success by ensuring that key vertical market intelligence, prospect mapping, and competitor data across our key verticals are meticulously curated, validated, and continuously updated in our Salesforce CRM system.
Search, identify, and address gaps in our data systems found in vertical market and competitor data and intelligence for our key verticals.
Utilize existing tools (Analyst reports, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.), primary and secondary research methods, and best practices to generate target lists organized by regions, verticals, taxonomy, etc. for sales regions and sub regions to use in vertical account prospecting.
Liaise with regional sales employees to conduct vertical market research (global and regional), including market size, forecasted growth, TAM, TSM, top companies, and top competitors.
Perform market mapping and data organization (including pivot table creation and management) across our key verticals.
Publish certain vertical market performance reports on a regular basis. Some reports may be accompanied by a presentation to sales and other teams.

Required
Knowledge of market verticals including Telematics, Asset Tracking, Healthcare, Security and Surveillance, Utilities, and Enterprise.
Experience in vertical market research (global and regional), including market sizing, forecasted growth, TAM, TSM, top companies, and top competitors.
Proficiency in vertical market mapping, data organization (pivot table creation and management), data entry, and data analysis.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Preferred
Ability to present insights from research and analysis to internal stakeholders and department leadership.
Understanding of Internet of Things (IoT) applications in enterprise environments.
