Responsibilities

Audit daily reporting to monitor incoming referrals are routed accurately based on VDR access by client.
Conduct accurate data entry in the team database (Salesforce).
Contact healthcare providers to obtain confidential patient medical records.
Assist the referral team by contacting healthcare providers for referral updates.
Organize and process chart/EMR inbox items. Contact appropriate providers, etc., in a timely manner and place a sense of urgency on urgent requests.
Assist Value Driven Referrals Leadership with other administrative tasks, as needed.
Maintain quality control of all data, correspondence, documentation, etc., seeking proofreading assistance and reviews as necessary.
Securely handle medical and sensitive information in a confidential manner according to established protocol and procedures.

Required

High School Diploma required plus a minimum of 1 year experience working in customer service, contact center, or in a role focused on administrative tasks or equivalent combination of education and experience.
6 months or more working in a healthcare setting.

Preferred

Knowledge of Privacy Act and HIPAA Privacy Rule standards to maintain compliance, and to secure and protect medical and other protected health information.
Experience successfully working remotely in a virtual setting.
Strong technical expertise using Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to promote teamwork.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize work, execute a plan, and meet deadlines.
Flexibility and adaptive skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a constantly evolving workplace in a fast-paced environment.
A proven record of successfully working with employees, stakeholders, clients, vendors, and guests.
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
High level of critical thinking, and creative and effective problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidential documents and communication and use judgment and discretion.
