Responsibilities
Perform QC review of client legal bills for overbilling, using company guidelines.
Propose billing reductions and provide written justification for each billing error spotted.
Adhere to all company guidelines and policies in bill analysis and communications.
Maintain a high standard of work with few analysis errors.
Review line items in legal bills for billing accuracy.
Supervise the work of Phase I Legal Analysts who identify errors in legal bills.

Required
Must be an attorney currently licensed in good standing to practice law in a state of the United States.
Must have 2+ years’ experience working at a large law firm which does hourly billing.
Must be knowledgeable about legal work, internal law firm policies and practices, and legal billing.
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Must be curious and willing to learn.
Must be extremely detail-oriented.
Must be comfortable reviewing and analyzing large amounts of data and performing data entry.
Must have a healthy amount of skepticism.
Must be a 'rule follower' but not a 'people pleaser.'
Must have a good sense of tact and personal diplomacy and must be good at persuading people without coming across as being pushy.
Must take pride and have a sense of ownership in your work.
Must have clear, concise, polished writing skills.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
