Responsibilities
Experienced delivering professional services including network strategy, design and engineering, implementation, testing, customer training, and on-site support.
Strong working level knowledge of IP Networking. Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP), signaling protocols (RSVP, LDP), QoS, IP VPN, VLAN, VLL/VPLS, DPI, etc. Specific Nokia knowledge of 7x50, 7705, 7210, 7220 products.
Experienced in deploying and managing VM environments and servers including ESXi, KVM, Kubernetes, VMWare, Containers.
Experienced with troubleshooting software applications in VM/Linux environment. Understanding of gRPC and APIs is must.
Experienced with Planning, Designing, and Implementation around Nokia SDN and Data Center products and solutions.
At least Intermediate level expertise in Nokia SR Linux or Cisco's Data Center ACI product or Juniper Products.
Nokia SRA, Nokia DCF or equivalent Certification are a plus
Knowledge of Python, JSON programming would be an added advantage.
Strong analytical skills, with strong problem-solving capability.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
Influences others outside of the team to ensure goals are met and conflicts are resolved.
Responds to requests for technical information and assistance in a timely and professional manner.

Network Engineer with Nokia Router’s and equipment - 7x50 SR/ESS, 7705 SAS, 7210, 7220
Cannot be active on Nokia project or Nokia customer (T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T)
Resume must be current, if there is more than 3-month gap from last date on work history explanation must be included on resume above the work history
Minimum 6+ years relevant work experience

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
Advanced IP/MPLS training/certification (ALU SRA, Cisco CCIE, Juniper Junos), Nokia Data Center Fabric Certification or its equivalent
Preferred
Prefer candidate to be local in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Nokia SRA, Nokia DCF or equivalent Certification are a plus
