Responsibilities
Network administration, system administration, security monitoring, support and troubleshooting, and IT infrastructure and improvement.
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues to ensure uptime and reliability.
Manage user access, VPN configurations, and network segmentation for enhanced security.
Manage Microsoft 365 environments, including email, collaboration tools, and security features.
Maintain on-premises and cloud-based server environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure).
Perform patch management, system updates, and routine maintenance.
Monitor system logs (firewall, network traffic, endpoint security tools) to identify and address anomalies.
Support threat detection and incident response activities.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and apply updates or mitigations to address security gaps.
Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated network and system issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to resolve technical challenges.
Document processes, network configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
Recommend and implement improvements for network stability, scalability, and performance.
Support automation initiatives to streamline administrative tasks and increase efficiency.

Required
Proficiency in configuring and maintaining network devices (routers, switches, wireless).
Experience with system monitoring tools, SIEM, and basic incident response processes.
Strong understanding of Windows environments and Active Directory management.
Familiarity with encryption protocols (TLS 1.3) and network security principles.
3-5 years in system and network administration or related roles.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred
Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
Experience with cloud migrations or hybrid IT environments.
Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for task automation.
Ability to conduct user training and create technical documentation.
