Responsibilities

Conduct and lead advanced analytics activities leveraging predictive modeling, machine learning, simulation, optimization, and other techniques to deliver insights or develop analytical solutions to achieve business objectives.

Prepare and present written and verbal reports, findings, and presentations to key stakeholders, distilling complex statistical information into easy-to-understand business language.

Effectively represent the Data Science group in a collaborative environment to execute on company goals.

Support Subject Matter Experts on efforts to develop scalable and robust solutions.

Translate complex analytical and technical concepts for the non-technical team members to enable understanding and drive informed business decisions

Provide mentorship to team members in technical data science techniques

Inspire teammates with authoritative knowledge of machine learning, statistics and business principles.

Strive to develop subject matter expertise within domain.

Required

3-5 years’ experience

Graduate degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, etc. or equivalent quantitative field (equivalent work experience may be considered)

Proficient knowledge and experience with statistical modeling software, data visualization software & tools, version control systems, and databases/data structures.

Fundamental understanding of programming and scripting experience

Exemplary relationship builder with coworkers and customers

Detail-oriented and has excellent time management skills including work planning, prioritization, and organization.

Preferred

Masters or PhD in quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, etc. or equivalent quantitative field
