Responsibilities
Architecture Design: Develop, optimize, and implement data architectures for enterprise-level platforms.
Integration Leadership: Oversee the integration of large-scale data from various sources, including both SAP and non-SAP systems.
Data Strategy Development: Formulate data strategies that align with business goals, emphasizing scalability and flexibility.
Pipeline Architecture: Design end-to-end data pipelines and manage the deployment of data solutions.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business stakeholders to identify data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Data Governance: Uphold high standards for data governance, security, and compliance.
Tool Integration: Lead cross-functional teams in delivering data solutions using tools like SAP Datasphere, SAP SLT, SAP Data Intelligence, Databricks, and Azure, ensuring seamless integration with analytics and BI tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI, and SAP Business Objects (BOBJ).
Performance Optimization: Conduct performance tuning and optimization for data platforms to enhance efficiency.
AI/ML Support: Collaborate with data science teams to identify and prioritize suitable AI/ML models for various business applications.
Priority Management: Balance priorities and trade-offs between customer experience, performance, and operational support.

Required
A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT architecture, design, and development, preferably within large and complex hybrid solution landscapes.
This position is completely 100% remote anywhere in the United States. This position may have the potential to travel up to 20% dependent on business needs.
Must have permanent, unrestricted U.S. work authorization (citizen, green card, or unrestricted EAD)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in data architecture or cloud platforms.
Hands-on experience managing large data volumes from sources such as SAP S/4 HANA, SAP IBP, SAP TPM, and non-SAP systems.
Knowledge of integration tools like Boomi, SAP Data Services, and BTP Integration Suite.
Expertise in SAP Datasphere, Databricks, and Azure.
Proficient in Power BI, Business Objects and SAP Analytics Cloud.
Strong background in data modeling, architecture design, and data integration techniques.
Comprehensive knowledge of ETL processes, data lakes, and data warehouses.
Experience with cloud technologies and hybrid data environments.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practice
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
