Responsibilities

Responsible for defining and driving the technical direction of prospective business opportunities, developing system architectures, and providing technical leadership and solutions for proposals and strategic pursuits.

Propose new and innovative cloud and infrastructure solutions to the complex challenges.

Assess market level technology trends as well as capabilities of complementary solutions enabling larger scale solution offerings.

Assist with determining the level of effort estimates for various efforts, using the information provided as part of the solicitation documentation, to determine the most cost-efficient and effective staffing approaches.

Develop lifecycle cost models to support architecture decision.

Review customer-provided information and outside sources to understand potential issues/problems currently faced and develop approach to solving these problems.

Ensure solutions are of high quality, performance and scalable.

Required

Must possess a master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or similar technical discipline and 7 years’ experience in cloud architecture and solutions including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS technologies.

Must have 5 years’ experience architecting in AWS.

Experience providing analyses and reports to support customer requirements, strategic planning and progress for systems operations and lifecycle management.

Must be proficient in developing and delivering presentations on solution and business case/value.

Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze policies, procedures and goals of the organizational and provide actionable recommendations.

Minimum of 5 years of experience managing large-scale cloud technology projects and implementing and improving organizational processes for IT governance and life cycle.

Must have Professional Cloud Certificate for AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.

Must possess an active Top-Secret Clearance and be located in the NCR.
